The 44-year-old WILD BOYS veteran has blasted groups including 'ABC' and 'BUCKS FIZZ' for cashing in by regrouping for reunion tours.
Taylor says, "When we reformed everybody wanted us to do that but we steered well clear. We were ready to work it from the bottom up again. If it meant going to play in clubs then we would have done that."
The HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF drummer has hailed pop acts like 'BUSTED' for writing their own tunes, but deems the Irish four-piece 'WESTLIFE' an unacceptable presence in contemporary music.
He rants, "I can't stand the way they sit in jumpers just singing ballads. At least with 'BUSTED' they write their own tunes and have a great vibe.
"Oh no, I am not a Westlife fan at all, THANK YOU."
The reformed British pop group - which also includes SIMON LeBON, NICK RHODES, ANDY TAYLOR and JOHN TAYLOR - is currently enjoying their third decade of fame with the release of album "ASTRONAUT".
