[glow=red,2,300] "THANK YOU" tops bad album poll[/glow] The 1995 release Thank You has topped a Q magazine poll of worst albums of all time, according to the BBC.
Others in the list include Mick Jagger's 1987 solo album "Primitive Cool", Billy Idol's 1991 "Cyberpunk", and even "Baby Woman" by top supermodel Naomi Campbell.
The same music mag honored Duran Duran with a lifetime achievement award, in 2003.
Thank You -which got gold in the US but spent just three weeks in UK charts- was a tribute collection to bands that inspired them, featuring cover versions of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day", Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel's "White Lines" and Led Zeppelin's "Thank You".
The band later described the record as "commercial suicide".
well we here at DURANMANIA don't think that "THANK YOU" was that bad of an album though... not that bad to top the bad album poll

LONDON: Duran Duran’s ‘Thank You’ has topped a poll as worst album of all time. The 1995 covers album featured versions of Lou Reeds’ Perfect Day, Public Enemy’s 911 Is A Joke, The Doors’ Crystal Ship and Elvis Costello’s Watching The Detectives. The album was voted ahead of Billy Idol’s Cyberpunk and Mick Jagger’s Primitive Cool in a poll by Q magazine. Q's hall of shame includes every solo Spice Girls album, all given equal footing at number two in the chart. Q’s deputy editor Gareth Grundy said, "The list is a mixture of the unspeakable and those ridiculous acts of hubris, although we tried not to pick on the obvious soft targets.” Q is a music and entertainment magazine published monthly in the United Kingdom.
We at DURANMANIA still think it wasn't that dramatic nor that BAD.. to head the polls of worst albums.. we could think of dozens other albums .. worse than Duran Duran's THANK YOU
