the story
SPECTRE agents under the command of Ernst Blofeld infiltrate a US air force base situated in the UK and steal two Tomahawk cruise missiles. When NATO is held to ransom, the British reactive their "00" agents and send James Bond to recapture the warheads and kill Blofeld.
NOTE: Never Say Never Again is NOT considered one of the official Bond films. The "official" Bond films are made by MGM/UA and at least one Broccoli. Never Say Never Again was made by Warner Bros and no Broccoli's worked on it. In fact, the film was released at the same time as Octogirl thingy as a rival. It was a remake of Thunderball. That is not to say that it wasn't a good movie, just not one of the "official" series.

REVIEW: After a 12 year hiatus, Sean Connery returns to the series that made him famous. The movie is a remake of Thunderball that is nowhere near as good as the original. If it weren't for Connery, the movie would have tanked. However, he was back and better than ever delivering his lines as though he had never left. As for the movie, it was slow and uneventful for the most part. There was too much talk and not enough action. The supporting characters at MI6 were terrible and a disgrace to their MGM/UA counterparts. However, the supporting cast was incredible: Kim Bassinger, Max Von Sydow, and Klaus Maria Brandauer were all great in their roles and added greatly to the movie. Let's hope Sean never says never again.
